The \r integration of onboard subsystems (including Ferrybox, IOPs, radiometers, \r LIDAR, ROV, and salinometers); 2. Supervises data and metadata workflows, \r supports onboard operations; 3. Contributes to quality assurance/quality \r control (QA/QC) procedures and data ingestion into the Marine Data Store. \r Through these activities, CNR–ISMAR Napoli supports access to research \r vessels and associated facilities, enhancing the interoperability and \r availability of ship-based marine observations. In the framework of the \r DiSSCo Research Infrastructure, CNR–ISMAR Napoli supplies services for the \r digitisation, cataloguing and management of marine natural collections, \r including biological specimens, fossils, sediments and rock samples. These \r services support metadata standardisation according to FAIR principles and \r promote data integration and sharing across research infrastructures. \r CNR–ISMAR Napoli contributes know-how and resources that enable interaction \r with other RIs, such as LifeWatch ERIC (biodiversity and e-science \r services), Euro-Argo ERIC (oceanographic observations) and eLTER RI.
