The ATLaS infrastructure develops advanced methodologies for the prevention and management of ground instabilities including outputs from leading-edge monitoring platforms and hazard forecasting models in a multi-scale perspective. ATLaS mission is to promote research and technological development in the field of hydrogeological risk prevention and management, to support actions and policies for risk reduction. In line with the mission the activities are: - Development of new technologies for monitoring and mitigation of geo-hydrological hazards; - Forecast models and quantitative risk assessment of geo-hydrological hazards; - Early warning systems and resilience enhancement; - Scientific networking, training, capacity development and dissemination.
