The shapefile is composed of 3 points corresponding to the Friulian region of Venice and Giulia. Each point is the location of the interrogations currently active since August 2025. The photo shows 3 Silixa iDAS fiber optic interrogators installed in a dedicated rack cabinet inside the Amaro node (Udine-Friuli Venezia Giulia Region) managed by INSIEL. Each interrogator is positioned on a dedicated isolation platform (dumper) and each of them is associated with a server/NAS (top of photo) for pre-processing and storage of the data. Such drives provide storage of 144 TB each. A fiber optic cable (the yellow cable on the right) is connected to each interrogator. In this node they come three fibres were questioned which, after a short shared stretch, diverge in the direction of Sappada, Cividale del Friuli and Tarvisio.
