This service provides elemental characterization of environmental matrices through Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) and Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) analysis, following standardized or customized protocols. Procedures include microwave-assisted acid digestion and the quantification of major, trace, and ultra-trace elements in water, soil, sediments, atmospheric particulates and biota. The analytical suite supports environmental monitoring, pollution source apportionment, and geochemical studies, providing data for both regulatory compliance and research applications.

Description
This service provides chemical characterization of environmental matrices, including water, soil, and air particulates. By converting physical samples into precise data, it enables the identification of components ranging from major elements to ultra-trace contaminants. The service supports a diverse community, including academic researchers, environmental monitoring agencies, and industrial entities. Applications span from pollution source apportionment and biogeochemical cycling studies to industrial waste characterization, groundwater quality monitoring, and long-term impact assessments.
